Sunny family home at the gateway of Portes du Soleil.
This modern 3 star chalet was built by the present owners as a weekend home for their family.
It’s just a five minute walk from the restaurants of Montriond, and about 15 minutes walk into Morzine. Situated on a hill overlooking the village, it’s the perfect base if you want to explore the ski areas of Morzines and Les Gets as well as Avoriaz and the Swiss resorts of the Portes du Soleil.
Chalet Les Ptits Loups’ elevated position means you can enjoy fabulous views over the valley from the sunny balcony and terrace, which wraps around three sides of the chalet, so you won’t miss a minute of the sunshine. There’s parking for three cars and a large store room which is a perfect place to keep skis or bikes.
Light-filled home with fabulous mountain views.
The spacious accommodation at Chalet Les Ptit Loups is set over three floors - the entry level and two lower floors.
There are five bedrooms as well as two shower rooms and a bathroom. On the lowest floor you’ll find the laundry area and the sauna, where you can ease aching muscles after an energetic day.
In the open plan living area, fantastic picture windows on three sides flood the room with light. They also frame the fireplace, so you can take in the fantastic views while enjoying the warmth of the fire - it’s a lovely place to relax in the evening.
If the weather is warmer, open the doors on to the terrace, lounge on the big bean bags and watch the sun set over a glass of wine - it’s hard to imagine a better end to the day!
Ski two countries from this fabulous mountain base.
Situated between Morzine and Montriond, Chalet Les Ptits Loups gives you easy access to the Morzine ski area, as well as Les Gets and Avoriaz.
You can also ski in to Switzerland, but be warned, only the most accomplished skiers should tackle the Swiss Wall - a huge mogul field which is classified as an orange route - too hazardous for a black! But with 650km of pistes, there is plenty of scope for skiers and boarders of all ages and abilities.
If you’re not a skier, Morzine also offers indoor and outdoor ice skating rinks, which are often host to ice hockey matches, and the local cinema often shows films in English. The more adventurous might like to try snowmobiling or ice-climbing on some of the area’s frozen waterfalls, or discover the area in a more sedate manner on a sleigh ride.
Other ways to have fun include snowshoeing and sledging, while the Indiana adventure park offers a variety of activities for all ages.
Get out and enjoy this vast summer playground!
Summer in the Portes du Soleil is very special, with snowy slopes replaced by lush green pastures, which are a natural playground for walkers, mountain bikers and thrill-seekers.
From Chalet Les Ptits Loups it’s just a five minute drive to the beautiful Lac du Montriond, where you can swim, canoe, follow the biking and hiking trails or enjoy a pony ride. It’s a great place for a picnic, but there are also some excellent restaurants.
The impressive Brochaux waterfalls are also worth a visit, as is Les Lindarets - a village where goats wander freely. Morzine has earned Famille Plus status for its excellent childcare and entertainment, so it’s the perfect choice for young families.
There are superb water parks in Morzine and Avoriaz, as well as two summer sledging runs, while the Indiana adventure park has a range of assault courses to suit all ages. Golfers will find excellent courses just a short drive away in Les Gets and Avoriaz.
Other activities in the area include climbing, rafting, via ferrata, canyoning, mini-golf, quad bikes, fishing, kayaking and hiking.
So much to explore, you’ll wish you could stay longer...
The traditional village of Montriond, along with neighbouring Morzine and Avoriaz, offers plenty of variety for a holiday, whatever the time of year, but if you venture a little further, there’s plenty more to discover.
The Portes du Soleil resorts cross the border into Switzerland, giving you two countries and two cultures to explore. It’s just over half an hour’s drive to Lake Geneva, where you can visit lakeside resorts such as the pretty spa town of Evian-les-Bains, or the beautiful medieval village of Yvoire.
You can also cross the lake by boat taxi to other lakeside towns such as Lausanne and Montreux. In Chamonix, just an hour’s drive away, you can take a ride on the second-largest cable car in the world, and take in the spectacular views from Mont Blanc.
Geneva airport is conveniently just over an hour away from Chalet Les Ptits Loups, so if you don’t get to fit everything in first time around you’ll just have to come back!

From the Owner
Welcome to our chalet, in the sunniest area of the valley! It has been our family dream for many years.
“Welcome to our chalet situated in the sunniest area of the valley. The Ptits loups chalet has been our family dream for many years. Our dream came true five years ago. Our sunlit mountain retreat takes us back to childhood memories of magical stories and adventures. Our homely chalet is where we can come with our two sons, friends and other family members from afar. We enjoy both outdoor activities and relaxed times together away from the city life. We love gathering together in the evening sharing our daily experiences around the open fireplace and admire the stunning panoramic views. We welcome you to our special holiday home and hope you will love it as much as we do. Have a lovely time and we're looking forward to your little word in our guestbook." Sammy & Charles R.
“Thank you, until next time!”
We had a super holiday with friends at Chalet des P'tits Loups. It's a wonderful location, in full sun and facing the main Morzine piste. Space, comfort and great facilities. A session in the jacuzzi and sauna at the end of the day quickly became an addiction!

“So much to do !”
Great size, view and proximity to Morzine - far away enough to enjoy the view, close enough to give kids independence to go swimming, sledging etc without us having to drive them anywhere! So much to do and no need to get in the car for much of it.

“... perfect for relaxing after a long day skiing.”
Lovely comfortable chalet - not to mention the stunning view!Very homely, cozy and welcoming. Both the chalet and the hot tub were perfect for relaxing after a long day skiing.

“Excellent value for money”
A very good south-facing location, a lovely large living room... and excellent value for money given the sauna and the jacuzzi.

“We had the best week of holiday”
What a great chalet and what a great location! The skiing in Ardent was absolutely breathtaking. Enjoying both the jacuzzi and the sauna after skiing was the best thing for our aching muscles. We enjoyed making ourselves at home through the week and loved sitting by the fire for many hours. Also walking into town and taking the foot bridge on snowy evening was romantic and fun. We didn't find a bad restaurant in Morzine!

“A beautiful, warm and welcoming chalet”
Thanks to you, we managed to bring together 4 generations of the same family despite the distance, job obligations and studies. We spent a wonderful Christmas in Morzine.

At the heart of the Portes du Soleil, Europe's largest skiing area, Morzine offers great winter sports and plenty of summer action. Ski, hike or bike into Switzerland, enjoy great lakeside walks, explore mountain villages or just relax in one of the village's many restaurants or bars. With a superb swimming pool complex, adventure park and a choice of spas, there's always something new to explore.
